- Cary Grant, né Archibald Leach, est un acteur anglo-américain, naturalisé citoyen des États-Unis le 26 juin 1942. Après une adolescence troublée, ce bricoleur habile, de grande taille et qui a la particularité d'avoir un menton dit « en fesses d'ange », devient chanteur dans les comédies musicales de Broadway à New York. Son accent britannique, mi-aristocratique mi-représentant de commerce, fait de lui un spécialiste du genre dit "loufoque". Il tourne dans plusieurs films d'Alfred Hitchcock. Ian Fleming se serait inspiré de son pouvoir de séduction et de son apparence soignée pour créer le personnage de James Bond. Grant reçoit cinq nominations pour le Golden Globe du meilleur acteur et un Oscar d'honneur à la 42e cérémonie des Oscars, en 1970. L'American Film Institute l'a classé deuxième acteur de légende du cinéma américain.
